We’re Gonna Lose Weight Without Mom’s Treats

Big Helen and I are tie-ing one on for her last night with us, until the next time she can stand to hang here with us. Mom’s Tie o’ the Day is full of snowmen. She loves snowmen. And, of course, I’m wearing candy canes and canines. Around the holidays, Mom customarily makes toffee, caramels, cracker jack popcorn, and cookies for every person she’s ever met. She hasn’t shown much interest in that generous tradition this year. That’s ok. She deserves to lay down her candy spoon. 🥄

Back To X-mas Ties

Bow Tie o’ the Day shows off its Christmas balls. I’m showing off a church jacket, which is off to D.I. cuz I don’t have room for some of them anymore. Suzanne doesn’t want me to get rid of them. She thinks they’re fab, so I’ll have to sneak them out of the house. Check out my Olympic lapel pin, which depicts funeral potatoes. Mom is still perfectly content to have set up camp on our couch. Now I gotta go comb my hair. 😜
