My Mother, My Mother Country, My Mother In A Bow Tie

Red, white, and blue Bow Ties o’ the Day are pleased to be chosen as the neckwear o’ The Two Helen’s. Mom and I are patriots, but not fans of the New England Patriots. This photo proves that Mom is always willing to join me in my endeavors and whims. Tonight, all I said was, “It’s time for our tie pictures,” and she simply got situated into her walker; grabbed her hairbrush; and walked into the bathroom to perfect her hair. Big Helen rules! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

And Another Veterans Day

Even Skitter enjoys her free way of life in the USA, so she joined in with a bow tie salute o’ her own on Bow Ties o’ the Day. I hope you can get a close-up gander of my bow tie. It is adorned with toy Army people. I often wonder how tie makers decide what to put on their ties. I’m just glad they get clever about their designs. I hate to think what vice I would pick up if I couldn’t hoard ties. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈΒ πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’Ό
