The Ties Are Masters Of Holidays

Bow Ties o’ the Day show their true colors. The flag bow tie on Suzanne is one of my fave patriotic ties. Mom’s gonna be here until Monday, when I hand her back to Ron. I hear her bedroom there will be decked-out in new furniture when she returns to Ron’s. This pic shows Mom’s usual pose these days. She doesn’t move much, but she’s not bored. She’s still got her spark and humor and proper irreverence. And she has 87 years of stories to tell. πŸ›‹Β πŸ›ŒΒ πŸ‘΅πŸ»

Ties Love Freedom Too

This year, we sorta have two Veterans Days. It is officially tomorrow, but we observe it today. I guess that is so most banks and government offices can close for the holiday. Tie o’ the Day isn’t taking any time off, however. Tie wants to wave its country’s colors, to remind us of the sacrifices military women and men make. At the very least, citizens can show our support for liberty by learning the accurate history of the USA–both the good and the bad. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈΒ πŸ’™ ❀️
