Bow Tie o’ the Day is a recent addition to my patriotic/USA ties. Pretty snazzy, eh? Its design is kinda folksy. Memorial Day is a kind of Thanksgiving. We honor not only the dead who served in the military, but our family and friends who have passed away. They mattered to us in personal ways we might or might not be able to convey to others. Some of them lived big, exciting lives, visible to all. Some of them lived quietly. All had impact. All lives matter.
